The first of only ten examples produced, serial number 09437 lived a remarkable life as a racing driver and movie star. One of only two examples built with an alloy body, it debuted at the 12 Hours of Sebring with Dennis McClugage at the wheel. Shortly thereafter, repainted dark brown, it joined the cast of the film The Thomas Crown Affair starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway.

Profile: 328 GTS 1989 serial number 83136. A wonderfully preserved 328 GTS, serial number 83136 from October 1989, is also the last unit of this successful series. Sold in Switzerland, where it spent its early life, it later moved to France before entering a Belgian collection. This column celebrates the entire 328 series on its 40th anniversary.
