Product description
Born in the mid-sixties, the Alfa Romeo Giulia GT successfully took up the important legacy of the Giulietta Sprint. Since its presentation, the top management of the Arese company also thought of a version suitable for racing, which could revive the glorious glories of the past.
Thus was born the GTA (where A stood for “Lightened”), a car that immediately turned into the car to beat, capable of dictating the law in all the circuits of the world and of winning, in an official or private capacity, everything there was to win until the mid-seventies.
That fascinating and unrepeatable story is told by Maurizio Tabucchi, one of the greatest connoisseurs of the events of the Biscione who, through a precise and rigorous text, reconstructs the technical and sporting history of that unforgettable Alfa Romeo. The volume is accompanied by precious and unpublished archive images.
